Villa La Massa si affaccia sulle rive dell’Arno, nella campagna toscana, collegata al centro di Firenze grazie al servizio di navetta gratuito. Questa villa medicea, costruita nel XVI secolo è stata la residenza di importanti famiglie aristocratiche e trasformata in hotel nel 1948.
Nel 1998 diventa proprietà del Gruppo Villa d’Este che unisce al fascino della residenza la grande sapienza dell’ospitalità italiana. Le 37 camere sono unicamente decorate in stile rinascimentale con arredi antichi, senza però trascurare i comfort più moderni, con un’eccezionale vista dell’Arno o dei lussureggianti giardini. Il ristorante il Verrocchio, con la sua terrazza sull’Arno, offre piatti tipici della cucina italiana e toscana, accompagnati dalla carta dei vini , che conta, oltre 400 etichette tra le migliori della cultura vinicola.

Villa La Massa stands on the river Arno, in the Tuscany countryside, linked to Florence by a daily courtesy shuttle. This Medici Villa, built in the 16th century has been home to several aristocratic families. In 1948 the Villa was transformed into a luxury hotel and in 1998 the Villa d’Este Group purchased the property. The 37 rooms are uniquely decorated in the Renaissance style and feature antique furniture and modern facilities, with outstanding views on the Arno or on the lush gardens. The Verrocchio Restaurant with its terrace overlooking the Arno offers Italian and traditional Tuscan dishes, enhanced by vegetables from the chef’s garden, home-produced olive oil and 400 varieties of fine wines from the cellar.
