The Villa was planned and built in Valpolicella (famous wine area in the North East of Italy) in the 16th century by Andrea Palladio, a very important architect whose genious and creativity have influenced generations of architects. The Villa “West Wing” is an ideal accommodation for a large party, families sharing or business meetings in the heart of a highly evocative setting. It is a little paradise oasis located only 15 mins drive from Verona, 20 mins drive from the Airport, 25 mins drive from Lake Garda and close to 3 very important Golf courses. The Villa “West Wing” is enjoyable every season of the year, each with a different atmosphere, for very peaceful retreats. The beautiful internal ceilings was all painted, probably in the 18th century, with four scenes of angelic concerts. You get to the Palace walking through an amazing pathway sourrounded by ancient cypresses and by an italian traditional garden with many classic statues. The main facade on the meridian side of the Villa is carved by four plain columns, and with a marmoreum family blazon, and another one is painted on the posterior facade. In the loggia you can find several sculptures, showing figures of different ages, and carved in the front two marbles of Flemish taste, showing fruits and game. On the ground floor you will find a living room, a kitchen with marble fireplace, and a pool table room. On the first floor there is a big ballroom, with two double bedrooms, one single bedroom and two bathrooms, the ceilings of the bedrooms are all painted. On the second floor you will find two double bedrooms, and one bathrooms. an ideal location to go and see the opera in the Arena Theatre of Verona and perhaps to start your tours to visit the villas in the near Vicenza.
