This Villa is located on an estate which is the summer retreat of a noble family that has a long lasting bond with Salento and its land. The property is surrounded by a lush vegetation and it’s located in a favourable position some 800 meters away from the sea. The estate is a conversion of the original farming complex, built in the 1700’s, which economy was based on beet, olive trees and cattle breeding. The owners transformed the central building into a comfortable, refined and welcoming summer house but they preserved the original structure and the large farm yard. Later on they restructured the remaining buildings and transformed the warehouses, barns and workers housing into guest quarters. The aim of the renovation was to create a little village where each unit is independent and completely surrounded by the vegetation. The estate is a green island where you can find peace, tranquillity and personal well-being, breathing the magic Mediterranean atmosphere in the delightful garden. The patio and gazebos, all furnished in colonial style, were designed for both the tranquillity and the social needs of the guests depending on the time of the day and changing lights and colours. The decoration and the furniture of this Villa represent a tasteful matching of local and ethnic elements creating a warm and original environment. The Villa is divided into four Apartments rented entirely or separately. The first apartment has a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, three double bedrooms, two bathrooms and two wide terraces. The second Apartment has the same structure of the first. In the third Apartment there are a luminous living room, a fully equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms with one bathroom and two terraces. The fourth Apartment has a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms with two bathrooms and one terrace. The structure of the Villa is ideal for groups of friends since there are many others apartments available in the estate.
