This charming country house is located in a beautiful Tuscan landscape of olive groves, surrounded by a magic forest. For your pleasure and enjoyment this Villa includes a wonderful swimming pool with Jacuzzi, ideal to enhance your stay whilst soaking up the atmosphere of this typical Tuscan paradise. This Villa is a typical example of a stone Tuscan country farmhouse, beautifully restored with charm and taste. Guests have at their disposal all modern comforts keeping alive at the same time the special atmosphere of its origins. All beds are king size. Colours are specially cared for paying attention to matching all details from lightings to furniture. Ceilings are baults in cotto and wooden girders. This Villa is developed onto two levels: on the first floor there are a reading room with a big ancient fireplace which originally was the kitchen of the “Podere”. The old rooms are now two 4 poster king size beds junior suites, with ensuite and shower and the two double bedrooms, with ensuite and shower, were the storage room and the “vinsantaia” of the “Podere”. Going down the stairs you reach the old stable, which today are two beautiful suites with 4 poster king size beds, with ensuite and tub, while in the old cellar there are today a washing room and a double bedroom with ensuite and shower. The old barn is now a big living room furnished with modern sofas and enlightened by two large glass-windows facing onto the garden. The old garage is now a modern and very luminous fully equipped kitchen connected by an arch to a comfortable dining room with original Roman paving discovered in the stable during the restoration. The furniture is totally made of Tuscan antique pieces. At the “Podere” every bedroom is a story. The furnishings and decoration have been carefully chosen to give each one its own unique character. The rooms are named for different artists who contributed to the rich cultural heritage of Montepulciano. Their works can be seen in the pictures hung on the walls of the room bearing their name. All the beds are superior king-size, with bedsteads of handcrafted metal. The traditional ceilings of brick and wood beams have been preserved and the floors are of wood planks. Antique sofas are covered in rich, luminous fabrics, and natural linens create a wonderful play of light with the warm Tuscan sun.
