A breathtaking view for one of the more beautiful Sicilian Castles. The Castle is an ideal place to stay for people who love the sea, the open horizons and cultural itineraries of ancient Sicily.
The Castle stands on a rocky promontory overlooking the sea of Butera (CL).
This harmonious and picturesque building was built in different stages. It has a large square tower used by the previous owners to breed falcons for hawking, hence the actual name. The sixteen rooms on three floors can accommodate up to a maximum of thirty people. There are nine rooms on the first and second floor and seven rooms on the third floor.
The Castle is one of the best preserved Castles in Sicily and the only one in its province that is located adjacent to the sea. It is ideal for cultural and countryside itineraries all over Southern Sicily, as it is located not far from several important cities such as Agrigento and its valley of the Greek temples, Caltagirone with its old manufacturers of ceramics and majolica pots or Noto and its gorgeous baroque palaces. Moreover it is the ideal location to enjoy a romantic dinner or a private party on the beach.
