On the way from Santa Margherita to Portofino, a small road takes you to the ancient complex: the Villa rests on a steep cliff overlooking the sea.

The Property was born as a Benedictine monastery and the structure is developed around the evocative painted Cloister. Around the Cloister, the Church, the Sacristy, the Petrarca Hall and the Chapter Hall, all decorated with original frescoes, can be used as meeting rooms or for private concerts. The ground floor of the main Building hosts the large dining room from which you can step out in the garden. On the first floor, the large Piano Nobile Apartment is composed by 4 elegant different suites sharing the living room with a magnificent view of the historic garden and the bay. In the Tower, there are 6 suites and rooms. At the very top, the Oltremare Deluxe Suite dominates the whole complex. At the far end of the Italian Garden, facing the sea as the bow of a boat, the charming Francesco I Deluxe Suite has a breathtaking view which goes from the Gulf of Tigullio to the Portofino Bay.

What was once the Monk’s vegetable garden is today the only Italian-style Garden in Liguria overlooking the sea. Around the Italian Garden, the quiet courtyard, the Portofino Terrace and 3 Pines Clearing are the ideal place to enjoy a cocktail at the sunset under a painted sky.
